For the future-oriented analysis of the potential and chances of thermal spraying,
Forschungsvereinigung Schweißen und verwandte Verfahren e.V. des DVS has
commissioned a study on this subject. The co-initiator of this widespread survey
was Gemeinschaft Thermisches Spritzen e. V. (GTS) as the largest interest group
in this field. The current market situation in the spraying technology sector and
the need for research of small and medium-sized enterprises, industrial companies
and research establishments were determined within the framework of this
study. With the aid of this practice-oriented analysis of the needs, future research
projects and developments can be adapted optimally to the requirements and trends
of the market.
