M. Sc. Matthias Brucki

Profil:
Nach einer Berufsausbildung zum Industriekaufmann in der stahlverarbeitenden Industrie begann Matthias Brucki 2012 sein Studium zum Wirtschaftsingenieur in der Fachrichtung Werkstoff- und Prozesstechnik an der RWTH Aachen. Seit 2018 ist er wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter am Fraunhofer-Institut für Lasertechnik (ILT) und forscht am Extremen Hochgeschwindigkeits-Laserauftragschweißen mit Promotionsabsicht am Lehrstuhl für Digitale Additive Produktion der RWTH Aachen. Seit 2020 ist er Teamleiter für „Coatings and Functional Layers“ am Fraunhofer ILT.

Vita:
After completing vocational training as an industrial clerk in the steel processing industry, Matthias Brucki began his studies in 2012 as an industrial engineer in the field of materials and process technology at the RWTH Aachen University. Since 2018 he has been a research associate at the Fraunhofer Institute for Laser Technology (ILT) and conducts research on extreme high-speed laser material deposition with the intention of do a doctorate at the Chair for Digital Additive Production at RWTH Aachen University. Since 2020 he has been team manager for \"Coatings and Functional Layers\" at the Fraunhofer ILT.
